Chateau d`Avaray is a magnificent 15th century chateau in the center of the Loire Valley of France. It is located in the small village of Avaray between Orleans and Blois. The Loire has been called the “Valley of the Kings” where many of the royal and noble aristocracy of medieval France built their private castles. The Chateau is a testament to the grand architectural style, which typified this era in French history. It has been previously featured by the New York Times Travel Section Sunday Edition.
After WWII, Chateau d`Avaray was sold and divided into private apartments. We own two of these apartments, the Grand and Tower, both of which are now available for sale. The Chateau is readily accessible by car or by train from Paris. Details are available in the How to Get There section.
